Most Prime is sold to fine restaurants and select butcher shops. Ask your local butcher about USDA Prime offerings or look online for specialty meat store products. Prime beef is expensive but worth the price for an exceptional experience.
Just below Prime is USDA Choice. Choice beef is available in many supermarkets. Look for specially marked packaging or consult the meat department manager for guidance. USDA Select is the grade of beef below USDA Choice. Carefully chose your individual packs of beef, and choose USDA Choice when available.
